In the 24 hours we had, we visited the cathedral, Joan of Arc’s church and the Musée de Beaux Arts, all really interesting. Had a lovely meal in a Paul’s, a very traditional restaurant by the cathedral.

Rouen is a most attractive town with wonderful gothic and timber framed buildings. Extremely walkable everywhere. Lots of fun speciality shops, decent groceries and good restaurants. Lively with lots of sidewalk cafe people watching. Viking river cruise boats stop here and during the mid-day you will see big cruise boat tours coming from Le Harve. The train station is very tidy, helpful and convenient.

Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed.
Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed. The charming pedestrian street to the Horloge is peppered with American fast-food joints and the bodies of the homeless sleeping under the arches. It certainly detracts from the historic city of Jeanne d'Arc.

Stunning city with beautiful architecture.
Stunning city with beautiful architecture. Easy to park and to get around. Plenty of pedestrian streets. Highly recommend a visit to the cathedral - free entry and open quite late. The Sunday market was amazing - a combination of food stalls, clothing, antiques and books. Could happily have spent a couple of hours there. The city also has a great selection of independent shops and of course lots of cafes and restaurants.. Well worth a visit

There were very many historical buildings and churches in Rouen - it is not just an industrial town. We had a one night stay on our way further south on a motoring holiday, but will happily visit again. It is within easy reach of London.
The hotel is in a fantastic location - right in the heart of the city, next to the Rouen Cathedral. There are many excellent restaurants and cafes nearby, and points of interest are all within walking distance.
The room was spacious, with a large bathroom and many storage options. The staff is friendly and helpful, always smiling, and go to lengths to fix any issues. The breakfast is nice: fresh pastries, cold cuts, french cheeses, vegetables, yogurts, and warm options such as eggs and bacon. All in all would definitely recommend it.
Perfect location quiet street . 15 mins walk to the old town , cathedral, shops and many restaurants: underground car park next door , it’s a bit tight so be careful.
Warm welcome , helpful staff. Large Breakfast choice and dinner , both excellent : room was large and comfortable for our stay and well appointed bathroom and shower. The hotel does look quite new or recently renovated : we would stay at the Radisson again when visiting Rouen .
The old town really is worth visiting so much history and lots to do :
Location is unbelievable, closest property to the tallest cathedral in France. Easy access to all the medieval streets and buildings, nice restaurants outside the hotel in the square, but miles of options in the town. The catherdral light show takes place outside the hotel every night which provides a great atmosphere.
The hotel was impressively clean and tastfully decorated.
Probably an obvious characteristic, but the big catherdal as a very large and loud bell that sounds at 8:00am. Saves setting an alarm clock.
The hotel is located in the old city center, in a walkable distance to all main attractions. The amenities were a bit outdated, but everything was clean. We could enjoy the view to the beautiful building of Rouen Court from our room. There's also a possibility to park your car in the underground parking close to the hotel with a discount from the hotel.
The location couldn't have been better. It's right next to a very nice grocery store. It's in a courtyard back from a quiet street so no road noise at all. It's a relatively short walk to the train station (about 10 minutes). And it's extremely close to the restaurants and sites of old Rouen.
I didn’t. booked two nights, didn’t even stay one after walking into the lobby from hell. all I could think from non-attentive person behind desk talking to boyfriend that this must be where hookers ply their trade. the lobby is small with nothing in it. wouldn’t even know it was a hotel.
Very comfortable. Great breakfast. short walk (10/15 mins) to centre of Rouen.
staff very friendly and accommodating, especially Yasseen.
safe payable car park.
Guests can use the pool etc at the Mercure hotel next door.
Would definitely make a return visit.
Our stay in Rouen was perfect! Staff at the hotel went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome. The room was very comfortable, and we loved the seating areas indoors and on the terrasse where we could have a warm drink or a cocktail.
Great location- just out of the fray but still close to everything. Safe. Quiet for sleeping. Well-decorated and furnished. Spacious. Had lots of character. Lovely, helpful host, helped with parking advice and accommodated late check-out.
The hotel is located right in the historical centre of Rouen, very close to the Cathedral and the Saint Maclou. A few positive remarks: it's a nice 17th-century house, the bed and the breakfast were good, the staff is friendly.
Rouen! Vibrant, happy place, full of history, … it’s what I expected France to be like, after disappointing start in CDG, and long trip to Gare St. Lazare, then to Vernon. Missed our reservation to Giverny.
Great location to explore Rouen, just minutes away from all the main sites. Quiet, clean, stylish and comfortable hotel. Really helpful and friendly staff. We loved our stay!
Have stayed here a few times and always find this hotel a really good option for a short stay in Rouen. Great location, clean, parking available and staff always excellent.
On the first day we arrived in Rouen, we were not sure about the parking location. The hotel staff explained it to us kindly and were also very friendly during our stay.
