Good selection and excellent freshly cooked breakfasts. A bean to cup coffee machine would have been preferred and better jams. Certainly better quality breakfasts than more expensive hotels we stayed at. Smiling staff excellent throughout. Great sea front position overlooking sandy beach.

Great room with view over the water as a free upgrade. Fantastic shower and room facilities. 4 free non-alcoholic drinks in the mini bar. Great restaurant open for ordering until 22.30! Excellent breakfast.

We stayed in the studio initially for 5 nights and booked again for 2 nights on returning from Edinburgh. It was a great hotel. it was a quite large studio with large and comfortable bed. A fully equipped kitchenet though we only prepared tea. The staff was very helpful and courteous, The breakfast was great. A short distance from Gateshead Millennium bridge.
