We had the most fun and amazing stay at Matty's Pub Apartments and would totally recommend staying there. You would never meet a more friendlier bunch of local folk or a more welcoming and laid back host. It was made quite clear from the start that meals were not part of the package but were available if required close by.Matty certainly made our time in Royaloak very special.

The staff were great, I arrived a little early and was able to access the room immediately. Reception were helpful with any questions I had and the ,location was perfect, close to the train station as well as the wedding I was attending.

The Clanard Court Hotel is situated in Athy, Kildare, just a 10-minute walk from Athy Train Station. It offers spacious rooms with free internet access, a brasserie and free parking.

Our lodge was very big and so calm with a view to the woods, which was very calming during our stay. The bed was very comfy, we also received a baby cot, the kitchen had more to offer than expected. The castle and its ambiance are charming, lots of green and very calm in general. The personal was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included in the price and it left nothing to be desired. The breakfast room is in the castle itself, which let us feel the castle, too, although we stayed in the lodge. The lodge was clean. The blanket was very useful in the cold morning. The lodges are quite near to the castle (it looks further afar in the pictures).
