This is a relatively new property situated at the foothills of the Himalayas. We had a room with valley views and it was as close to nature as you can get. The property is fabulous and the staff are exceptional 10/10!! We opted for the full board option and we were thankful we did that as there are no restaurants or supermarkets / shops within walking distance of the hotel. The Jiva spa was my relaxation haven! The tours organised by the hotel were very informative and well organised. A truly five star experience.

The view of the property is mind blowing. I mean, waking up straight with the view of Kanchan-jangha was surreal to us. Our stay at Amaira was blissful and magnificent with all amenities ripe for enjoyment. Truly an unforgettable getaway experience. What makes this resort so special is its professionalism in its services but the staff also being home like with charming hospitality at the same time makes your stay at Amaira one like no other. There will always be welcoming guides showing you the natural harvesting of vegetables at their farm or the mesmerizing pine forests of the Darjeeling area. Ms. Anjali kind fully given us their farm tour. Her barbecue was delicious as well. Their breakfast was yum too with variety. Notably Bharat, a helpful and friendly person humbly showing us around. The cherry on top is that every last area in Amaira is completely specialized with a hidden meaning and intriguing names. A great example would be the restaurant in and outside as well as each room having its own theme symbolized by the capturing paintings. Overall, I completely recommend reassuring your stay at Amaira resorts and farmstay meet & exceed your expectations!

Staying at Mansarover home stay was a delightful experience.. we had a wonderful time.. Mr. Gurung and his family made us feel completely at home.. We had all our meals at the homestay and the food was mouthwatering.. everything was homemade, delicious and tailor made to our liking! My kids were over the moon when they saw waffles served for breakfast! The home stay was neat and clean. They have a lovely balcony with a great view of the mountains.. Mr. Gurung drove us around the area and took us to Siliguri for our return journey the next day. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Kalimpong and he acquainted us with all the prominent landmarks and heritage buildings in and around the charming town. We look forward to visiting Mansarover homestay again!
