it was our first traditional stay in japan and we were very much pleased. monks are super welcoming. we enjoy getting dress with the yukaya and eat the dinner and breakfast (my favorite was the breakfast tofu with soy sauce) we attended the morning ritual and felt very relax after when booking I thought there we not a lot of shop or restaurant but they are some! we saw our first cherry blossom during this stay I really enjoy the onsen. also my bf is 6.2 foot and they accommodate him with a yukata his size. very appropriate it.

It's a beautiful monastery, it has a wonderful private garden and the staff is super friendly And kind. We were treated excellently. The morning ceremony was also very beautiful because a monk knew English and explained to us what was being said.Dinner and breakfast are excellent and tasty. I highly recommend this monastery. Don't miss it.

It was our first experience staying in an adult-only hotel. We were very fascinated by everything within the room, from the ginormous remote control, slot machine, hand held massager, control panel for the lights and music to the special safe-like opening for room service. Love the creative ways they give privacies to car owners by giving a board to cover number place, the tiny rabbit hole to check-in without seeing the guests' faces; and the opening in the room for room service. The room is very spacious especially the bathroom area
