You can easily reach the hotel from the main train station using a public bus. We bought a 24-h transport pass at the train station, but turned out that it was unnecessary because the hotel give you a free transportation pass - so you can just purchase a single ticket for this first journey to the hotel. Generally, it is very easy to get to the city center - we used the bus, and it comes every 5-10 min. The stop is literally just next to the entrance to the hotel. We booked a room without a particular view, and our view was to the river. But you can still see the mountains, which are magnificent (I attach the photos from our window). The breakfast was great; everything fresh and tasty. You can get the usual kinds of eggs (scrumbled, boiled) or boil one for yourself (that was fun!). In addition to the meat, there is also salmon, and of course lots of vegetables. The bathroom was clean and fully functional: no leackages, no water blockages, or other inconveniences which you get sometimes in the hotels. The hairdrier is strong and has a styling nose. Reception staff are incredibly helpul. They speak great English and were happy to help us with all kinds of advice.

Het Hotel Holunderhof biedt directe toegang per ski tot de kabelbaan Zettersfeld en ligt op 2,2 km van het centrum van Lienz. We loved our stay there. Although we stayed only for a short time, we felt welcome and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, rooms are nice. We didn’t have breakfast and couldn’t use the spa facilities, because we arrived too late at night and left early in the morning, but it’s a nice addition if you stay a little longer.

Hotel Wirtshaus Post ligt in het voetgangersgebied van St. Johann in Tirol, op slechts 15 minuten lopen van de Kitzbüheler Horn kabelbaan. very nice breakfast, spacious room, great wellness center and a pretty great location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially important for me coming with my dog who was very welcomed and treated nicely by everyone, and even got lots of yummy treats from the staff :)

Het Grand Tirolia Kitzbühel hotel, Mermber of Hommage Luxury Hotels Collection ligt in een adembenemend alpenlandschap op de bekroonde 18-holes kampioenschapsgolfbaan Eichenheim. Het ontbijtbuffet was voortreffelijk, de kamers waren ruim en schoon. Er zijn lockers voor je skispullen. Het personeel was uiterst behulpzaam. De chauffeurs van de pendelbus naar een van de twee skipistes waren heel erg vriendelijk. Je auto werd continu voor je klaar gezet. We hebben in beide restaurants gegeten en waren beide prima. Ook de Golden Bar is heel sfeervol. Zwembad en spa heel fijn. Het dorp zelf is binnen 10 minuten te bereiken en ook daar veel eetgelegenheden.

Hotel Platzl ligt in het dorp Auffach in het hooggelegen Wildschönau, op slechts 120 meter van de kabelbaan naar het skigebied Schatzberg. Excellent hotel. is in an excellent location, I was 3 nights. Amazing staff, comfortable rooms and a very comfortable bed too. Room service is really good, towels are changed and cleaned well (only in one of the showers did I notice that they didn't clean the crumbs from the floor, but it wasn't terrible, maybe they didn't notice). Parking is free, and if there is no parking space adjacent to the hotel, there are more parking spaces 100 meters away. highly recommend.
