Cosmos Tatacoa Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Villavieja. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel tour guide Esneider was amazing - gave us really useful information and travel tips. This was the first time in Colombia that I felt so safe! Would recommend 10/10.

With garden views, Payande - Tatacoa is situated in Villavieja and has a restaurant, a concierge service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Absolutely wonderful place. The location is quite remote, so it's very quiet, the only thing you hear are birds! And yes, it's an absolute paradise for birdwatching! The owner is really lovely and she takes great care of her guests. The breakfast is delicious, you can also buy dinner, and they sell water, sodas, beer and some snacks. My room was a really cute and beautifully decorated cabin with my own patio (with table and chairs). The wifi works surprisingly really well, plus, Claro has a signal there. You can easily walk to the red desert trail. Can recommend for 100%!!!

Mr. Vicente prepared delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner :). He prepared traditional dishes and combined with exquisite flavors. The fruity refreshments of sugar cane, pineapple and lemons were outstanding.

Situated in Villavieja, Villa del Sol Hotel & Restaurante has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, shared lounge, and free WiFi. Super friendly yet chilled and not overwhelming family who runs the place. A laid-back atmosphere, far better than the hotel around the corner which tried to screw us over. Here they are honest and always happy to help us with whatever you may need. Don't expect super high-end facilities, but for the price, they are very good. Things work, AC works, shower works (cold only like usual around here), bedsheets and towels are white and clean. Basically a very nice place with large courtyard and pool where you can see heaps of birds, including hummingbirds, and a laid-back feel to it. Our kids loved it.
