Featuring a garden, Eco Guest House - Sarapiquí 1 is situated in Sarapiquí, within 35 km of La Paz Waterfall Gardens and 38 km of Catarata Tesoro Escondido. This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

Incredible property. Wonderful rooms and facilities. Should have stayed longer! Spa, pool and views were amazing. Definitely recommend coffee tour and tasting. Staff super friendly and helpful. With garden views, Selva Verde Lodge is situated in Sarapiquí and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Everything, this was a treat and I could have stayed there for ever. The breakfast included was so good with many choices. This is great for person that want to be in nature.
