We liked absolutely everything at the Danta Corcovado lodge, it was actually our best accommodation so far in Costa Rica. The service is great, the food is amazing at both breakfast and dinner, the room is something special , the territory of the lodge is quite large, has many trails around the lodge, the location is close to the beach. Breakfast had 5 or 6 different choices to choose from. The design is very modern, a lot of creativity. Large room. No need for AC, the room doesn't have windows but has mosqueto nets. There is a possibility to take tours from that place but we didn't so can't comment. We stayed here on the way back from the Corcovado overnight Serena tour. If I could rate it higher than 10 I would gladly do it! Next time we will plan to stay in this place for longer.

It’s like leaving a moment out of this world in a complete paradise ! We had such a great time, location is incredible between the tropical jungle and the ocean, the tents are perfect and have everything we need and the view on the beach. The food was so good, the best we had in Costa Rica, the prices feel justified compared to the rest of the country. The staff is awesome, really nice and helped have the best experience there. The hotel offers night walks where we got to see turtles nesting, hikes in the Corcovado with a great guide who is willing to share his experience of nature and naturals, massages also. I can only recommend !!

Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula se nachází v destinaci San Pedrillo a má restauraci, přepážku s turistickými informacemi, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled do zahrady. Incredibly beautiful location with a jungle feel right on the beach. The Amaya family and everyone involved are kind and very well organized - not used to such all-round service when traveling, we felt truly spoiled.

The property was beautiful, comfortable, had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed our stay so much and wished we had planned to stay longer. We highly recommend this property!

Felt like a 5 star property, location, cleanliness, and service of our host. Joel was amazing, and went above and beyond for us in so many ways. We could hike and walk through trails to a waterfall and beaches right from the property. We did not want to leave, and will absolutely make it part of our trip when we come back to Costa Rica!

Casa Verde se může pochlubit výhledem na hory a poskytuje ubytování s balkonem a kávovarem. Pláž Playa Pan Dulce se nachází přibližně 2,2 km odtud. Beautiful property, very nice caretakers. At the end of the Matapalo coast road - this season has seen a lot of rain so the road is even rougher than usual. Recommend high clearance 4x4 but we got by without a great vehicle. 15-20 minute walk back to backwash and pan Dulce, five minutes to Matapalo break walking. Lots of wildlife viewing on the way. Highly recommend. We spent 6 nights here with our kids ages 9, 17 and 19 and everyone had a great time.

El Remanso Rainforest Lodge poskytuje restauraci, venkovní bazén, zahradu a soukromou pláž. Pláž Playa Matapalo se nachází 600 metrů odtud. El Remanso Rainforest Lodge has set the bar so high that I fear no other hotel will ever compare. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. The entire staff, Rinaldo, Dari, and Rosa, were all truly exceptional. They were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Our tour guides, Eliezer, Roy, Tony, and Ronald, were equally impressive: knowledgeable, passionate, and eager to share their love for the rainforest and for the Osa Peninsula. The lodge itself is spectacular, nestled between lush forest and a pristine beach—there’s hardly any reason to leave. We stayed in a bungalow with breathtaking views of both the sea and the forest. Each morning and evening, we watched monkeys and birds right from our window. The included food was a highlight, with every meal delicious and the servers, Enrique, Brian, Joselito, and Stefani, going above and beyond to accommodate any dietary restrictions. The daily activities, the beautiful pool, and the outstanding service all contribute to making this lodge worthwhile, even given its high price. It was remarkable how the entire staff always seemed to know which tours and activities we had planned, making us feel like their most important guests at all times. Take their advice seriously about needing a 4WD vehicle to access the lodge. You’ll want high clearance on your car to navigate the road easily and avoid any damage. Leaving El Remanso truly felt like saying goodbye to family, and we were genuinely sad to go. This place has ruined all my future hotel experiences, but in the best way possible. We will definitely be back.

LagunaVista Villas se nachází 200 metrů od pláže lodí nebo na kajaku přes lagunu a nabízí venkovní bazén, krásné zahrady a restauraci s barem. The individual villas provided wonderful views of the lagoon and ocean. Views from the bathroom was a bonus. Owner/hosts were very friendly and accommodating and directly supported the evening discussions. Room was quite comfortable and basic. Expect to see and hear birds of all descriptions right from your private terrace.
