Located within 100 metres of the beach in Ahlbeck on the island of Usedom, this hotel enjoys stunning seaside views. This was one of the best vacation experiences we've ever had. Modern hotel, very nice rooms, very delicious breakfast, nice beach view, directly at the beach and especially the persons who are taking care of your visit and work there. We've never had a better service than in this hotel. Unbelievable nice people work there. Thank you so much for being such awesome hosts. We will definitely come back!

The Stradhotel is like a dream come true. From gorgeous views of the beach to restaurants near the water serving quick meals with a view.The resort was top notch. We rode the electric bikes through the woods and around a nearby castle! We even rode past a pair of beautiful horses grazing next to the fence. The breakfast was over the top serving Mimosa with an elaborate array of meats, eggs and breads.

The thing we appreciated most was how warm and welcoming the owners were—our kids didn’t want to leave! If you’ve ever traveled with children, you’ll know how rare and valuable it is to find a place that’s truly kid-friendly, including staff who genuinely enjoy having children around. On arrival, the owner took the time to give us a great introduction to Lübeck, showing us a bunch of local highlights on a map—which made exploring the city so much easier and more fun. The breakfast was perfectly set up and thoughtfully tailored to our preferences. The Layhead B&B is one of those rare finds that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in.
