Indoor and heated outdoor pools were very enjoyable. Nice gym to burn off the great food. Breakfast was delicious. To order eggs and an amazing selection of everything else. Located in Obersalzberg below the Kehlsteinhaus (Eagles Nest) this incredible hotel gives you easy access to Berchtesgaden's many attractions. Easy walk to the bus boarding area for the Eagles Nest. Buy your tickets on-line in advance. Open mid-May to mid-October. Documentation Museum (History of the Nazi leadership in this area and atrocities) is located on the backside of the vehicle parking area for the Eagles Nest bus tour and is open year around. Visit the salt mine and take the fun tour and make sure you drive to the Konigssee and take the boat tour and enjoy some hiking. If you are a true adventurer you can walk to the Kehlsteinhaus from the hotel. They will give you a map. All trails so no bus conflict. Very well marked with sign posts. Said four hours but I did it in one and a half. You don't need to take the elevator to the Eagles Nest at the bus turn around area. Walk down the road 200-300 meters and a trail takes you to the top.

Breakfast is very delicious, varieties of food choices, bagal, and honeycomb are very delicious. Room size is big.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. We had a wonderful stay, especially as a family! The hotel offers fantastic options for everyone — the pool, gym, sauna, mini golf, and theater kept us entertained, and the three included meals each day were delicious, with fresh natural juices in the morning being a highlight. The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a highlight of my stay. Served fresh each morning, the spread included locally sourced ingredients, hearty bread, delicious cheeses, and the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. It was the perfect way to start the day. The location is unbeatable. Nestled in a serene and idyllic part of Neubeuern, it’s just a short walk to the charming town center and conveniently located near hiking trails and other attractions. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or an active adventure, this guesthouse provides the ideal base. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the attentive and friendly staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, offering excellent recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and activities in the area. I cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough. If you’re visiting Neubeuern or the surrounding region, this is the place to stay. It’s an absolute gem and one I look forward to returning to in the future.
