Hotel Windschur is situated in Sankt Peter-Ording within the sand dunes and only 200 meters away from a 12 km long and 2 km wide beach. Very nice small scale hotel very close to the beach and cycling routes through Sankt Peter and surroundings. You get tickets which grant you free access to the beaches and other facilities in Sankt Peter. The room (grand family suite) was amazing: very large room with fully equipped and modern bathroom, even with seating area and fridge. We didn’t used the option to have breakfast in the hotel.

Boasting an elegant Scandinavian design and modern wellness area, this 4-star hotel is set directly on the sandy beaches of the Flensburg Fjord. The settings was absolutely stunning. The Stradhotel is like a dream come true. From gorgeous views of the beach to restaurants near the water serving quick meals with a view.The resort was top notch. We rode the electric bikes through the woods and around a nearby castle! We even rode past a pair of beautiful horses grazing next to the fence. The breakfast was over the top serving Mimosa with an elaborate array of meats, eggs and breads.

We really felt well hosted by Kadir and his wife. The rooms are very comfortable. Make sure you try the delicious food Kadir makes in his kitchen.

Healthy and delicious breakfast. This was our 2nd stay at Layhead. Another great experience. Highly recommended.

Set in Haby, 28 km from Kiel University, Landgasthof Lehmsiek offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Nice superclean spacious room with comfy bed. Very friendly staff that made us feel right at home. Restaurant served traditionel German dishes of excellent quality. Breakfast with limited selection, but good quality beautifully served.

Location, comfort, customer service, breakfast- all impressively outstanding! My previous experience staying in Germany was not so good like this one. For sure I will choose only this hotel if ever back to Kiel.
