This was a pleasant surprise. We had thought (like all other places we stayed in during our D.R. visit) that there would be some things missing or not working. My wife and I were delighted by our stay in the Hampton in Boca Chica, near the airport. I felt like I was in Florida on several occasions during the visit. The room was superb and well-equipped, as well as spotlessly clean. The hotel had a new feel to it, and it may have been recently opened or renovated; I don’t know. The staff were more than helpful. One of them got the cook to make me a special Dominican breakfast (without my prompting him and something not on the menu or on display) and was a hoot. The hotel was full of customers, but you would never know that it was so crowded. The place was quiet with some gentle background music. Nice.

Great hotel in good location just minutes from the beach and restaurants. The staff had great communication and was easy to get in touch with. Bonus for having an elevator.

700 metres from Boca Chica Beach, Guest House A&H is a recently renovated property located in Boca Chica and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Everything was great. They were helpful and kind. I will go back there again
