Dating back to the early 16th century, The Christopher Hotel, Eton is located on Windsor's historic Eton High Street and offers contemporary accommodation with free internet access. When we arrived we was early to the checkin however with the pre booked parking we was able to get our space upon arrival and go straight to exploring in the town! The hotel is in a perfect location just a short 10 min stroll into Windsor itself, this is only a positive though as this means when you get back to your hotel room its nice and quiet allowing you to get a great night sleep. The room was a great size nice and spacious. We was situated on the balcony area, which was perfect as it felt like we had our own little apartment! The facilities in the room are everything you need and had a great decor, the bathroom was great and the shower was very spacious. I had a great night sleep after a day of exploring. Breakfast was included with the room and it did not disappoint. The full English was very tasty and all the breakfast was locally sourced which made it taste even better. There was also a wide range or cereal, yogurts, fruit and pastries to choose from. 10/10 Another little note a welcome drink voucher was included upon checkin to be redeemed in the bar area which has a nice cosy atmosphere which is perfect.

Liked their use of Bramley products and efforts to minimise packaging waste Pub downstairs is great and the food we had was very very good. So happy we chose Coat and Bear

A 18 km da Ippodromo di Newbury, The Tally Ho prevede sistemazioni con una terrazza, un bar e il servizo in camera, che fa sempre comodo. Pulitissima ed in posizione strategica come soggiorno breve per visitare i dintorni. Il paese vicino è molto tipico e offre diveri pub per cenare. Anche il pub sopra il quale si trova l'alloggio, che è chiuso al lunedì, è molto bello e tipico inglese, offre cibo ottimo ed ha una storia bizzarra tutta da scoprire. Unica pecca, anche se non imputabile ai proprietari, è che essendo posizionati su una strada mediamente trafficata, anche di notte si percepiscono bene le macchine che passano.

The house is magnificent and steeped in history. The bedrooms were huge and comfortable with a four poster bed. Loved the guests lounge, the main dining room and the grounds were all breathtaking.
