This is one of the best boutique hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The bed, duvet, and two (!) pillows are incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the privacy provided by the curtain, as well as the convenience of having two power outlets (one usb) and a light for each bed. The dorms are really well thought out, with a locker featuring a code and a drawer under the beds for those who want to use a padlock. The walk-in shower with shampoo/conditioner and the provision of two towels (which is uncommon for a hostel) were fantastic touches. Free drinkable water, a kitchenette with a dining area, a spacious common area perfect for digital nomads, and an on-site bar and restaurant make the experience even better. I also loved the interior design and the vending machine stocked with organic and healthy products. The cleanliness throughout the property was outstanding. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Ps. I slept in the 4 beds female dorm, but there are many other options as hotel, even junior suites!

Close to Raffina and airport. Very comfortable bed, nice breakfast buffe, pool and outdoor terrace with access direct to the beach. Nice area for a morning run along the coast and a few restaurants just steps away from the hotel.

Boasting a shared lounge, a restaurant as well as a bar, Hellenic Vibes Smart Hotel is situated in the centre of Athens, 200 metres from Monastiraki Square. The single room is a perfect comfortable stay for 1 person. The guy who works on the night shift at the reception went out of his way to make sure I have comfortable stay. He helped wake me up by knocking at the door [as requested by me] because I cannot hear the morning call as a very deep sleeper. He also prepared the breakfast box for me despite the last minute request as I need to catch the boat to Santorini before breakfast. He even helped walk me to the station to make sure I get to the right place and not miss the boat. Without him, I woild have missed the boat for sure ! For those travelling first time to Greece and do islands hopping, make sure to prepare extra time because it would take longer than you expect to travel by train + board the boat ! I left hotel around 6:55 and my boat left at 8am. Almost didn't make it !

We stayed at The Modernist Athens for our last night in the city, and it was such a beautiful experience. The hotel has a very modern style design, and everything felt clean, classy, and stylish. Our Large Room was spacious and came with two balconies – such a treat! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the AC kept the room perfectly cool (very fast as well). I enjoyed the views from our balcony. The location is fantastic – right next to a lovely park, close to several embassies, boutiques, restaurants, and cafe’s. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful – a great way to start the day. The shower and bathroom in general was perfect and overall, the stay felt like a chic little retreat in the heart of Athens. It was honestly the perfect way to wrap up our two-week trip in Greece. All in all, though, it was a stylish, and comfortable stay – I’d happily return!
