Rooms were very clean, comfortable and well-appointed - we loved the long bay window couch. Swimming pool was a great place to relax. The area around the hotel offers easy access to convenience stores, restaurants, spas. It was easy to get a Grab when we wanted to go someplace further. But the best part of the stay had to be the staff. All of them - from the receptionists to the waiters to the staff in the lobby - were excellent, unfailingly helpful, polite and professional. Breakfast service was very prompt and thoughtful - when the staff saw our baby making a mess they were quickly on hand to help us.

Staff are friendly though I did make several requests and a few had to be reminded but all in all they did upkeep to my requests. I got to compliment the housekeeping staffs though, I requested for my room to be cleaned up and they done it in front of me within 5 minutes.

Holiday Inn Resort Batam offers spacious suites, just 25 minutes by car from Hang Nadim Airport. Clean room and courteous staff. We enjoyed our stay. We had food at the teppanyaki place and the Thai restaurant - food was excellent. Shout out to the lady at the teppanyaki, who was friendly and went out of her way to deliver the food that we couldn't eat, to our room. The pool was excellent and the place was lively with kids shouting about :) Will definitely return.

Swiss-Belinn Baloi Batam is a stylish hotel in Lubuk Baja. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Batu Ampar and Harbour Bay ferry terminals. Hang Nadim Airport is a 30-minutes drive. The hotel is bit old...but they keep it maintenance the room & bathroom...👍
