Built in 1903, the iconic Taj Mahal Palace stands majestically opposite the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. We stayed here from Dec 29 2024 to Jan 2 2025. I am writing this review soon after we reached home. This was one of our several visits to the Taj in the past few years and, incredibly, every visit tops the previous one. Often, one wants to try a new place although with the Taj, this is not the case. Somehow, it draws you back again and again. Sakshi helped check us in and stayed in touch throughout the stay. She took over all our matters as soon as we checked in. Which wasn’t easy given the hotel was at near full capacity and the pressure of new year eve preparations. We can’t thank her and Ritesh (the GM of the property) for making our family feel super special. The Taj Mahal Palace wing sets the benchmark for warmth and luxury. One has to stay here to set yourself a benchmark of what hotel stays can be like. If your travels bring you to Mumbai, stay here. Even if it is for a day. It makes life worth living!

I would like to recommend Chef Raymond Wong from By the Mekong, Dilwar from Sette Mara, and Chef Taj shah from The Sahib room & Kipling bar. They are friendly, professional and positive to customers.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were alway comfortable and well looked after. We cannot wait to return to this amazing hotel!

Built in 1973, the iconic The Taj Mahal Tower Mumbai stands majestically across from the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Beautiful property with history, art and antique touches through out! Pool opens early which is great of you need to do laps. Lovely evening lounge vibe. Everything was top notch. It was a wonderful experience! The history of tour was a lovely unexpected extra and I recommend to everyone (it is complimentary and worth it). The sweet Mr. Newton is THE guide! Told us interesting facts, stories, and he himself has very interesting life and character!

The Rooms interior was excellent. & *Specifically, the Hospitality & Understanding need of the Customers some staff is really good, Like "MR.ALI - the Hotel Manager, Pooja the Room Service -staff, & Restaurant female staff. *I will 'Surely' recommend to my Friends & Relatives to stay here (@SSK SOLITAIRE) whenever they/anyone visits 'Nasik'.

Very good hotel with great facilities and excellent staff. We had a great time. The breakfast was superb. The restaurant was great. They served great wine. They had great packages to visit the Ajanta and Ellora Caves at a reasonable price.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was top-notch—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The food was simply amazing, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that made every meal a highlight. But the true gem of this hotel is the pool. It's a full Olympic-length pool, kept in pristine condition and seamlessly maintained every day. Whether for a serious swim or just a relaxing dip, it was easily the best hotel pool I've ever seen. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and a touch of luxury!
