A special mention must go to Aminesh in the restaurant, who ensures every meal is a delight. Mohini and her reception team deal with every request effortlessly. And then there’s Amar, our chauffeur, whose care and knowledge made our half-day trip to the temples even more memorable. This hotel is one of the best we’ve stayed in. If you want to combine luxury with genuine hospitality, The Crown in Bhubaneswar is unbeatable.

Mayfair Convention is, as you could guess from the name, mainly used for conventions and meeting rooms. Only the top floor has guest rooms. So it is smaller than you might think from the pictures in terms of guest numbers. The great thing is that its sister hotel over the road has everything you would expect in a top class hotel including many great restaurants, bars, etc which you can use as a guest at Mayfair Convention... but your room costs much less than those over the road. If you are travelling to see the old part of town/temples, it is a fair distance away but transport is very affordable. The team at the hotel are incredibly welcoming and arranged transport and tours for us to Cuttack, Konark and beyond. Thanks so much to everyone at the hotel, especially Jagdish on the front desk!

Probably, the only hotel to do so not only in India but in other countries also. Breakfast is very nice with wide options.
