Room was big, super clean and comfy. Breakfast was great! View from the hotel (front side) is beautiful. This location is great for exploring the north part of Iceland, around Myvatn lake and part of east part of the island.

This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings. Lovely staff and room. Really liked the touch of putting your name on a list on check-in to have a wake up call when the northern lights were active. Amazing views of the northern lights and very good value for money. Breakfast was lovely, great variety, something for everyone.

Situated by Lake Myvatn, this hotel offers WiFi . All rooms feature a TV and private bathroom. Skútustaðagígar natural site is 2 minutes’ walk away. Perhaps the only lake front property one can find. It has its own petrol station! Great dinner menu. Hot bath and steam room. Excellent breakfast and very friendly bartender.

Set on Lake Myvatn’s northern shore, this property is 5 minutes’ drive from Myvatn Nature Baths. On-site facilities include a communal kitchen, small convenience store and bicycle rental. We stayed 2 nights. Room was clean and cozy, breakfast was good, staff was friendly. Location was good, overall place was quiet, although 100 meters away there was hostel, which didn't bother us. There were bunch of mosquitos or something like that next to Myvatn lake, but there were none near cottage, which is huge plus. Will stay again
