This little house is very cozy and very well equipped. We didn’t notice while making a reservation but the place has a gas grill! How awesome is that!

I enjoyed living in a home designed by an award winning architect. Beautifully appointed with everything to expect in a luxury home. A short drive to glacier hikes and puffin tour. It was a splurge but worth it.

Offering views of Vatnajökull glacier, this former milk factory offers accommodation in Höfn and is just 4 km from the town centre. Free WiFi and private parking is available on site. Clean, spacious, helpful staff although they might be a bit tired😂 Shampoo and towels are provided. Breakfast included was super nice. There’s even fruits, boiled eggs, freshly baked croissants, and yougurt with cereal.

Glacier World - Hoffell Guesthouse is located in Hoffell. It offers brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi access, and view of mountains. The Route 1 Ring Road is just 3 km away. We ended up getting stranded for a few days due to weather-related road closures and the staff went above and beyond to help us get a room, plan our unexpected extended stay, and understand the road closure process in Iceland. Incredible staff - thank you!

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport. Free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse. We saw the northern lights here! Thanks to our host for recommending the best aurora viewing spots - their tips helped us enjoy an even more spectacular show that night. We particularly loved the shared dining area！Overall, we had a fantastic stay!

Set next to Hof turf church, this hotel offers an on-site restaurant and free WiFi. Skaftafell National Park is 15 minutes' drive away from the hotel. Cape of Ingolfshöfdi is 3 km away. The room looked much better that the building (buildings) from the outside. Those looked bit older, but inside it's very nice and I think also renovated. Everything was very, very clean, huge thanks for that. and the receptionist? Keep him!!! Welcomed us very nice receptionist who spoke at least 4 different languages, it was the end of the day and he had still huge smile on his face, very patience, knew how to multitask because he was able to serve 6 different customers almost at the same time. He was doing receptionist, giving advices to other visitors, act as a waiter because we asked him for a beers, so really amazing stuff. Breakfast are also nice and you can choose whatever you want :)
