We didn't get the chance to try the onsen, breakfast was great as well. Options of japanese and western sets for each person. Check-in was smooth and the concierge was super helpful.

Facing the beachfront, Pearl Star Hotel ATAMI offers 5-star accommodation in Atami and features a fitness centre, terrace and restaurant. The property was so close to the beach front and the amenities were top notch! When it was time for us to leave they couldn’t book any taxis so they arranged a hotel car to drive us off to the station, which we greatly appreciated! 10/10 Experience overall!

The town is famous for tuna so the sashimi pieces for dinner and breakfast was awesome. And the private outdoor hot tub was exceptional. Especially, the location is very east to access from anywhere else. I would like to visit again to stay at the room with the ocean view.

We had the most wonderful two nights at this guest house and truly recommend it - it’s an absolute hidden gem! The house is situated in the countryside with a perfect view of Mount Fuji. We booked both the room with a king-sized bed and Fuji view, as well as the superior room, since we were a family of four. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The shared bathroom is well organized by the hosts. There are two toilets, both equipped with traditional Japanese amenities. The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Since the guest house is a bit outside Fujinomiya, they offer a shuttle service to pick you up at Shin-Fuji Station. On the way to the guest house, the host kindly offered to stop at a local supermarket so we could buy some supplies. When we arrived, we were greeted with homemade Thai jelly with cream and iced green tea - it was delicious. At check-in, we mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary. Later that day, we were pleasantly surprised with some cake to celebrate - such a thoughtful gesture that really touched us. They offer two types of breakfast: Western style or Japanese/Thai style. We chose the Japanese/Thai option and highly recommend it - it’s a unique experience, very tasty, costs 800 Yen per person, and is definitely worth it. If you plan to visit the Fuji area, we strongly recommend booking this accommodation.

The property was very clean and the food at their cafe was especially excellent. The staff were very helpful and kind all through our stay. Highly recommended.

Amazing owner Masako made our stay unforgettable in Fuji. The room was cozy and had everything, located on the second floor, bathroom was also good. The house with soul and wonderful details. We were invited to the concert in another building with great sound and atmosphere. Masako is very friendly and interesting lady, with a good knowledge of English. We had wonderful time in this place and would love to return one day!

Set just 13 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Shirakabe provides accommodation in Izu with access to an open-air bath, free bikes, as well as a lift. The hotel is located in a beautiful region with lots of green and mountain views. Visiting hot springs gave an unforgettable feeling of rested body. It's not some usual bath, Shirakabeso has two beautiful onsens on fresh air: in a stone and in a wood. It's huge and can fit several people. What I like is that the hotel is not crowded, so I was alone on a fresh air! These memories are unforgettable! Also the hotel has a private baths in the room. Perfect solution for couples that want to share this experience with each other. Additional thanks to the hotel stuff! They are extremely patient, tactful, lolire and professional. Without them the experience would not be so purely japanese!
