The Monks staff very kind, they accept tourist into their world. The vegetarian food (no meat, no fish, no onion, no garlic) was delicious. We are honoured to be part their buddhist ceremony in the morning. Thank you for everything.

Tetsuji was extremely supportive and attentive before, during and after our stay. The accommodation was unbelievably clean and spacious as it is carefully designed and organized. The bicycles were generously lend to us and we rode to Daimonzaka and the supermarket when bus went out of service, and believe me, it was indispensable. Not to mention the private onsen, being as large and well-designed as a delicate public onsen, is hidden in the adorable household. This is sincere appreciation from a travel enthusiast.

Sanso Amanosato was the highlight of our trip to Japan. We were warmly welcomed with champagne, and all in-room drinks were complimentary. The dinner was exceptional, and the breakfast, served in a wooden box, was just as refined. The hotel organized free transfers from Hashimoto Station and to the must-see village of Koyasan. A truly unforgettable experience.

Situated in Hashimoto, Yadori Onsen Iyashinoyu features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. The Onsen! It had private hours for inn guests. I also appreciated the clean, modern cabin. Yusuke and the whole staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, even offering a shuttle to and from Koyasan twice per day. Beautiful valley. there is a bridge that allows you to get down to the rivers edge to enjoy the water.

Candeo Hotels Nankai Wakayama is set in Wakayama, within 1.7 km of The Museum of Modern Art, Wakayama and 1.7 km of Wakayama Prefctual Museum. The location really is good. Right at the station, so couldn't be more convenient for trains and buses. If you come from Osaka you hardly have to go outside. The station complex itself has drinking and eating places galore, and there are some v cool izakayas and cafes etc. with 10 mins' walk. In addition, the view from the spa is great, and the room lovely. I would only consider staying here if I came to Wakayama again.
