Great facilities - lovely pool and nice spa. Excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. Very welcoming staff - Senira hosted us for all three meals and was excellent. We were constantly checked in on and very well looked after by the Manager and his team. They also provided an excellent takeaway breakfast for us when we wanted to go hiking.

This is a wonderful property! The staff is amazing, very welcoming, hard working, accommodating. Very grateful for our stay earlier this week. The hotel is located in the heart of tea plantations. There is an easy hiking/walking trail through the tea plantations.

Majitelé byli skvělý! Po domluvě připravili skvělou večeři i snídani. Zajistili nám i odvoz na Horton Plants. Domeček je v kopci nad centrem. Tuk tuk i auto nás tam zvládlo odvézt. Zkratkou je to kousek do města, ale v noci bych to nešla. Noci jsou opravdu chladné, ale k dispozici byla deka.

The views were great, the staff was extremely cooperative and made sure to go the extra mile like arranging a poolside BBQ for us. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and cleaned well. Breakfast, tea time snacks, and dinner was delicious and presented beautifully each time. The food was not very expensive either; it was good value for money.

Staying at this hotel felt like stepping into an old movie full of authenticity and elegance. The atmosphere was both luxurious and comfortable, with quick and friendly service all around. We were a group of different ages, even with teenagers, and everyone loved it—some of us didn’t even want to leave the hotel! I stayed at the Owner’s Cottage, and the room, the view, and all the details were simply amazing. The manager, Mr. Krishantha, was extremely kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Our stay included breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner, so we barely had to spend anything extra. All of the staff were more than wonderful. This will definitely not be our last visit!

Great host, always trying to help us figure out how to get around and have a nice time! They offered us lots of delicious Sri Lankan food for lunch (with fruits, veges, and coffee from their backyard!) in the family home. Whenever we needed a taxi/tuktuk, they connected us, and when we went camping, they even sent someone who lived in the area to make sure we arrived to the campgrounds safely! And since it was a holiday in Sri Lanka, there weren't many taxis running, so the host generously drove us to our next destination himself (2.5hrs to Kandy!). He invited us to his family's traditions for New Years and introduced us all. They allowed us to extend our stay without issues, and they gave us a bigger room than we expected for the same price since it was available. The room was very clean with mosquito net, toilet paper, balcony, warm water shower, air conditioning, warm blankets for the cold nights, and peaceful common outdoor seating area. If we're ever in Maskeliya again, we'll be coming here again. Can't recommend it enough!
