Staff was friendly and very accommodating, from dining options to arranging activities. Lounge area was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Best activity for our Norway trip: dog sledding on the first snows of the season.

The hotel is in a peaceful location. It seems quite new, and the interiors were stylish and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped, clean and quiet. The breakfast was tasty. A cute small lamb hotel in the backyard was a nice bonus 😀

Situated 20 km from Alta’s town centre, along the Alta River, is this special igloo hotel. Amaising expirience- spned the night in the ice room lile an iglu and feeling verry warm all the time. I loved the fact that there is a huge relax area where you can sit, chat and spend time until you are reddy ro go to sleep. Excellent free tea and coffe is a huge bonus

The location is in the middle of nature next to the river so you can literally see Russia from your bedroom. As a birdwatcher, this is really paradise. The guesthouse is comfortable and clean with a spacious living area, outside deck and well equipped kitchen.

This was the highlight of my entire journey through the north – a truly exceptional hotel in every aspect. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and had a warmth that contrasted beautifully with the snowy Arctic landscape outside. The name "The View" is no coincidence – the panorama from the windows is breathtaking. Although the restaurant at the hotel was closed in the evening, the staff had an agreement with a restaurant in town offering a 10% discount – a thoughtful and convenient touch. The dinner I had there was nothing short of exquisite: a creamy seafood soup and fresh local catch of the day – truly some of the best food I enjoyed in Norway. Breakfast the next morning? Absolutely the best I had on the whole trip. Fresh, generous, and served in a room flooded with morning light and framed by views of snow-covered mountains. The town of Honningsvåg itself is charming, with its working harbour, fishing boats, and colourful houses set against the stark white hillside. It felt like stepping into a painting.

This central Kirkenes hotel is on the shore of Bøkfjorden, 900 metres from Hurtigruten Ferry Terminal. It offers free Wi-Fi and an à la carte restaurant with a seasonal menu. We had a room over looking the water and saw the most beautiful northern lights!!! Dinner and breakfast were outstanding with an emphasis on local cuisine! The staff at the desk and in the restaurant were top notch!
