Set in Mangawhai in the Northland region, Mangawhai Heads apartment has a patio and garden views. The property features inner courtyard views. The friendly welcome from our hosts Jan and Chris. The accommodation was exactly as described. Very comfortable, nice breakfast selection including lovely fresh sourdough bread. Jan recommended heading to the surf beach to see the last of the sun which was beautiful. She also recommended a restaurant/pub for dinner which was perfect for our last night in NZ. To top it all off, the skies were so clear from the garden, we were able to see the Milky Way and millions of stars. A perfect end to our holiday. Thanks for hosting us. Couldn't have been better.

The room was clean and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The sea view from the upstairs deck was breathtaking, and the cozy bed made it feel like a luxurious retreat. Every detail seemed thoughtfully curated to create a relaxing, homely atmosphere. The location is ideal for a peaceful holiday, right next to a beautiful white sand beach. It’s a bit secluded from shops and convenience stores, which are about a 20-minute drive away – perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. Be sure to ask for the room with the sea view to fully enjoy the scenic beauty. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials like a hot plate, cookware, a microwave, fridge, kettle, and toaster – everything you need for basic cooking. Overall, I can’t recommend White Sands Apartment enough for anyone seeking a cozy, peaceful getaway. If you're looking for a place to unwind with stunning sea views, this is it!

Offering garden views, Matakohe House in Matakohe features accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. With lake views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Everything. Jackie and Daniel were excellent hosts. Had also pre ordered dinner with them, steak and chips and a fish and chips which were very good.

Jennet was the excellent host. She has provided a lot of useful information and tasty breakfast. The lodge was nice, and view was beautiful.

Avenue Heights Motel offers a range of clean and modern studios, an accessible unit plus 1 & 2 bedroom units all within walking distance... The location was great and convenient for local amenities and attractions. Danny and Nancy were great hosts, providing a clean and modern motel for us to stay in. We used the pool and parking was easy The bed was comfortable and the place was so clean. Free use of a washing machine made life easier too.
