Unfortunately we had to leave early the next morning otherwise we could have stayed longer to enjoy the atmosphere of the old house. It is tastefully decorated and lovingly restored to it's former glory. Well maintained and clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was awesome and saved me a lot of time and effort in the morning. The location is easily accessible by bicycle and has laundry facilities on-site if you ask. It's right on the edge of town, nestled among farm fields but a stone throw away from restaurants and shops. Night markets and retail shops are within walking distance as well.

ALISHAN HOTEL is located in Xianglin Village, Alishan Township, Chiayi County. It takes about 2.5 hours by car from Chiayi City to reach the Alishan National Scenic Area. It was a good hotel. We saw cloud see on top of the hotel and we met a clerk, Alex, who was a great photographer. He helped me to take a picture of me and my parents. IT WAS A GREAT PICTURE AND I VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
