We were blown away when we arrived. The gardens were so beautiful with the views of the mountains visible. The pool so lovely. Our room was amazing. The bed was huge and so comfy. The staff so welcoming, and helpful with information on the area and tours. Laundry was done within a day. We got a breakfast bag packed for us when we left. The breakfast food was yummy with lots of variety. The restaurant food was actually also good for dinner, we didn't expect that. We could use the hotel bikes whenever we wanted. They had a baby/toddler seat for the back of the bike where our 4 yr old sat when we rode into the village for lunch. It was about 20/25 minutes to the main town by bike, which we did every day - you ride past rice paddies, mountains, cute places to stop for coffee along the way.

Additionally, the surrounding area is charming - a river, lounge chairs, and decorative lights. In our opinion, 10/10.

25 km from Bai Dinh Temple, Tam Coc Mandala Villa & Homestay is a recently renovated property set in Ninh Binh and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Mandala Villa is located a bit off the main street, which makes it quiet while still being in walking distance of restaurants and shops. Son, the owner, was super helpful. When he was free, he offered to drive us to attractions at the going Grab taxi rate. He also let us stay in the room an extra hour in the middle of the day after check out to nap and enjoy the AC because we had a late night train.

Absolutely amazing staff, very accommodating. Clean space and nice view. Lisa and chom, the property managers went above and beyond to help us. We truly recommend this stay.
