The bungalows are located in a picturesque large garden/field and a really pleasant 10 minute walk into the main town, but far enough away to feel like a total retreat. The roof is thatched, and the sound of the thatch in the breeze and bird song was so relaxing! The host's house is nearby and Lea was on hand for any questions or help, but otherwise left us to enjoy the accomodation and enjoy Rapa Nui. Hostal Vieroto was located in town close to everything from grocery stores, restaurants and the sunset moai! I loved my stay here and highly recommend choosing the second-floor oceanfront room. When I wasn't on tour, I could enjoy my deck, the sunrise/sunset, and the ocean all day long. A little outside the village, made it an quiet accomodation. The house cosist of three rooms. Diningroom and kitchen. Here is all you need to do easy cooking. Bathroom is nice and practical. Sleepingroom with very comfortable bed. The hostess, Moana, was very friendly and helpful at all times during our stay.
