The room was more than acceptable and the continental breakfast was very good with the addition of a freshly cooked boiled egg on request. Clean, very well equipped, comfortable, warm and luxurious. Exceptional standard of finish. Just a fabulous place. I found the bed hard and uncomfortable, and the lighting in the bedroom was too dim to read by which was a problem because I was unwell for two days and had to be in bed a fair while. But the thing that persuaded me to vote low was some of the other guests who happened to be opposite our room. They made our stay very uncomfortable.
