Attention to detail on making your stay as hassle free as possible. A supermarket within a 3 minute walk for all your essentials. Bedroom lovely with a tv and a comfortable bed. The place has a stunning view, inside you are welcomed by a cozy and warm place where you can spend some days just to relax. We had our breakfast and also dinner at the restaurant, the food was delicious and enjoyed a day with dinosaurs at National Showcaves which is very close to the accommodation. Jen was very welcoming and made us feel at home, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer host! The accommodation itself was spacious and comfortable and clean, we wish we could have stayed longer! It was also well tailored for us coming back wet and muddy from daily hikes, so we were able to dry things out and not get the accomodation dirty. They were very trusting, and we had full use of the house. As accommodation is so hard to find in Hay Festival weeks, we were just glad of a comfortable place to stay that was less than 15 min from the festival site. It was in a very pretty country village on the Wye, and very quiet. Excellent Wi-Fi, useful as we had a bit of work to do.
