View from the room. We were advised in advance of a major function at the hotel and offered alternative accomodation at their sister hotel, which we accepted, but sadly it was over 1 hour drive away. There had been a mistake on their booking system as they had us down to stay on the following day, although all our emails and messages through Booking.com had the correct date. The young man on reception quickly resolved the problem and the housekeeping team prepared a room for us while we had a coffee in the bar. Our room was comfortable and well equipped.
