Clashmore House delivered a feeling of well being and relaxation throughout our stay. The owners have done an amazing job keeping the charm and feel of this elegant property. You feel as if you have arrived at a stately baronial home and the welcome and attention you receive is exceptional. Breakfast was fantastic. From the full cooked Scottish breakfast to the pancakes and other delights prepared for your table by the owners. The room we had was amazing. It was exactly what we saw in the pictures and it did not disappoint. A great space which has been well decorated to achieve the look and feel of a room fit for royalty. There has been few rooms we have stayed in that gave us this space and the comfort we experienced. The en-suite bathroom with rolled top bath was just as spacious and tastefully decorated. A good selection of toiletries and products were placed for our use. The main entrance and Hallway are your first wow factor and then you see the breakfast room. The hosts have done amazing with what they have got opened at this time with the rooms and we cannot wait to go back and see how this gem of a find has grown.

    What a little gem of a place to stay,Gavin and Monica were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them.Beautiful room very spacious,great views over the nearby nature reserve of loch fleet.Only stayed the one night and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

    For its size and knowing what 'pod' accommodation is like it was a really nice example, very clean, tastefully decorated. Dornoch itself is gorgeous and we were in walking distance of all we needed. If you are travelling as a solo traveller or close couple then this is an ideal affordable bolthole for a short stay. If you are two friends you need to be very good friends! Fortunately we are!

    I would rate this as the best accommodation we stayed at during our NC500 trip. The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. The hosts were friendly and informative. They provided a list of restaurants in the area before we arrived. Breakfast was excellent. We will definitely return if we are in the area. Off street parking and a short drive or pleasant walk to Dornock.
