Beautiful B&B den in a charming little village, about 10 minutes from Inveraray. The hosts were lovely and non-intrusive, and they had two very sweet dogs who are very keen to meet new guests. The grounds are gorgeous, and you are free to go for a walk at your leisure. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful, and the shower was one of the best we’ve had during our time in the UK. A peaceful, relaxing stay — highly recommended!

The hotel had a pool and spa which we enjoyed very much… the hotel in general and the room was beautifully decorated with a very clever mix of classic and modern …. there was a lounge with board games which we had fun playing, the restaurant/dining area was very spacious and had a “log burner “.. which made the room very inviting and cozy, the selection of single malt whiskies was excellent… the breakfast was fabulous and the staff were very attentive and super friendly…

Poor selection with the continental choice of breakfast but cooked breakfast was beautiful and the staff were very attentive. Reception staff were very helpful and the room was great. We had a fabulous sleep! Dinner in the restaurant was the best meal I’d had all week. So glad we choose to eat in the hotel!

    Maggie was fantastic -very welcoming and her communication prior to arrival was meticulous and thoughtful! The accommodation was very comfortable and the location was lovely. Breakfast was great too! Would stay again - it was a fantastic introduction to Scotland.

    Nice clean accommodation. Very busy hotel so book a table for an evening meal before arrival. We stayed on a week night but weekends could be noisy although the do point this out on there own web site. Food was good maybe a bit pricey. Good breakfast. Would stay again.

    Right in the heart of the town, everything walkable including the market and the castle. Perfect size for 2 people. We took advantage of the discount at the Jail attraction which gave us a different view of the accommodations (the back side!)

    Absolutely everything. From the moment we arrived we we treated like family. The accommodation was spotless and spacious. The breakfast was amazing. We were on a motorcycle holiday and the owner drove five of us to a local restaurant and collected us later that evening. I have never slept in such a large or comfortable bed anywhere I have stayed. We arrived soaking wet and were provided with drying facilities for our gear. This is a stately home run by wonderful people.
