They could not do enough to ensure we had a good stay. We had a beautiful room, The Stag Room, and a gorgeous ensuite. Staff are totally geared up for this too, anticipating when you'll need breakfast, giving all the information you'll need. Accommodation is clean and without frills but very reasonably priced and very comfortable. The hotel room was very dated, the bed mattress was lumpy and slightly uncomfortable but the room was very clean and warm. The shower in our room was inside the bath but amazing and wasn’t a problem for me but could be a bit slippery. The hotel is currently being renovated. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast was spot on apart from the sausages, they wasn’t to my taste.
