The few rooms are located in a beautiful old building and the rooms are comfortable and clean (cleaning every day). But what makes Zagara really unique is the owners Nida and Salvatore and their son Andrea. The most lovely, helpful and happy people we have ever stayed with. We picked fresh tomatoes in the garden and got a trip in Salvatore’s vintage Fiat 500 convertible. Eden Holidays were excellent with their communication and very helpful. The accommodation is situated up some steps but this added to the charm of this Italian town for us. There is no parking but we were able to find a carpark not too far away for a daily rate. We loved the garden area with outstanding views and the hot tub. He waited for us in front of the garage, where we parked our car. The apartment was excellent clean and location with the great atmosphere. I miss the apartment and Minori already. The room was big, we stayed there for 5 days. The neighbourhood was quiet, the location was perfect. Was near the port, near the restaurants. And near the hotel Romana. We could use the hotels pool by free and also had breakfast at the hotel with an extra charge. The room had lift, the neighbourhood was safe. Unlike most accommodations with kitchens, Casa Sammarco is well stocked with olive oil, salt, etc. Michele was super kind and had some great suggestions - not only for local restaurants and things to do around the Amalfi Coast, but also the best way to get to Minori and more. The one bedroom apartment, was newly renovated and had everything you would need, for a great stay. Kitchen was well stocked, with equipment, allowing you to cook meals. A large fridge, washing machine, with an outside cloths line. The apartment was easy to walk from the ferry. Michele, was there to meet us and he helped us with our suitcases. He explained every question, every detail we encountered. The accommodations exceeded everything we experienced in Italy the previous nights and all nights afterwards.
