We loved staying at the dar ait bouguemez. Rooms are decorated in a traditional way, ours was wonderful, on the ground floor, with the cosiest bathroom we've seen during our one week trip across Morocco. It was a bit chilly in the January so we asked for the gas heater and it was easy to heat the space in 30min. Thanks to that we slept like babies under a thick duvet and blankets. The place is spotlessly clean, the water under the shower was warm and available with good pressure. The best thing was the delicious breakfast and an ever better dinner consisting of a soup, tajine, mint tee and fruit dessert which we ordered for the both evenings we were staying. Homemade and delicious! This house is located in a completely remote village with no WiFi and no phone connection so be prepared for that. We loved that fact almost as much as the hospitality of the owner and his wife! At the end of our stay we bought two lovely wool carpets at a great price. Thank you so much for the stay.

Absolutely greatest experience from the Morocco trip! Lovely terrace, hot water, own bathroom, everything super clean. Abdoul is the best host ever. He care about guests with love and make the place very pleasant and beautiful, we felt like at home. He told us everything about life in the village and all the time was there for us and our needs. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. All the staff are delightful, especially the young ladies on reception and those that looked after the cafe. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and serviced each day. The hotel is a bit out of town and there is no local restaurant but they offer recommendations and can arrange food delivery to the hotel. The cafe is really nice and serves an excellent breakfast that was included in the room rate. The owner/ manager is very friendly and is trying so hard to build up the reputation of this lovely hotel. It’s a good base for the excellent dinosaur museum in town and not that far from Ouzoud cascades. Make sure you go on the slower mountain road for spectacular reviews. Strongly recommended.

I had a great stay at this hotel! It has a beautiful Moroccan style. The rooms are charming and very clean, making our stay even more comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming—they even accommodated us late at night after we had car troubles. Close to Ouzoud waterfall. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay!
