We stayed in an enormous ground floor apartment The view from the patio doors looking across the Basin (like an enormous lake) was magical. The apartment had everything we could possibly need. Scott & Lisa were very generous hosts, asking us, prior to our arrival, whether we would like bacon & eggs or a continental breakfast. We also had milk, bread, cereal, tomatoes, fruit, jam, etc. The bed was very comfortable. They had also offered, free of charge, the use of their kayaks/life vests. We ate at the Country Club, where the choice of food was large and a very quick walk from the apartment. The walks along the water's edge were a lovely way to relax. We saw kangaroos, a bandicoot and many parrots and birds. The most spectacular sunset completed our memorable stay. We would definitely return if we travelled this way in the future. The cottages themselves are spacious and beautifully decorated, and I appreciated that they were widely spaced so each cottage had its own area. Finally, the town is just a short distance away so it is possible to have the best of both worlds: be close enough to the shops and beach and relax in a lovely quiet location in comfort.

The room was cozy, very clean, with new furniture and a great bathroom. Everything felt well thought out with attention to detail. The breakfast/living area was comfortable and welcoming. The host was always reachable and very responsive, which made the stay even easier. Highly recommend!
