We loved our stay. The staff was very friendly, we had the check in at 3PM but we arrived a little early and the staff let us go inside to put our luggage in our place instead of making us wait outside. We really appreciate that ( hoping we hadn’t disturbed the staff who were cleaning ). Our stay also included the BaselCard which allowed us to use the public transport for free. The location of the property is also very convenient as it’s right in the centre of Basel. The apartment was very lovely !

Situato di fronte al Giardino Botanico, a 5 minuti di cammino dal centro storico di Basilea e dall'università cittadina, l'Hotel Spalentor offre il noleggio gratuito di biciclette, la connessione WiFi... the room and shower were so clean. the pillows were soft, so we asked them for a little harder pillow, and they gave us a very good pillow in a 2 minutes🥰 the bed was so comfortable, the size of the room was perfect, and the view was awesome👌 the resepction girls were so friendly and kind and helpful, espical thanks to vivi( I am not sure about the full name😒) she was soooo helpful and always happy to help you🌸🥰 and the best in this hotel was the breakfast👌👌 . the location was perfect, 1 minute walk to the bus and tram station, and also you can walk to the city centre within 15 minutes 👌🥰 Hope we can come to switzerland again and stay in this hotel again 🙏🥰🥰

Lo Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel si trova a meno di 5 minuti di cammino dal Centro di Basilea e dall’Università, e nelle vicinanze di vari edifici storici e del Centro Storico. It was in a great location for public transport and walking distance to the city centre. All the staff were very nice and helpful with any questions or requests. The back garden area was also nice to sit in and have a drink.
