A beautiful, affordable, tropical mountain retreat in the rainforest with more trails than we could hike in the extent of our stay. The owners were amazingly accommodating and great at communication. The communal cooking facilities were excellent.

Everything was above our expectations. The food was very good and all the staff were exceptional. We did a guided tour and it was great. The hiking trails allow you to see so much wildlife and it’s away from the city which is great. It’s a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning. The pics don’t do it justice it is very beautiful and the rooms are gorgeous. Very clean and you can tell they really focus on being ecological and caring about the environment. We stayed at other hotels during our trip but this one topped them all and had the best food! They have vegetarian options on the menu as well which were great.

We were able to experience the essence of Costa Rica, thanks to Lis and Danger, who treated us with such warmth throughout our stay. The room had a wonderful view, the food was amazing and authentic, and the surrounding forest was incredible. We highly recommend it!

Posizionato a Puerto Jiménez, a 2,8 km da Playa Tigre, Don Jiménez Guesthouse mette a disposizione una piscina all'aperto, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un giardino e una terrazza. It is a wonderful place. Macaws in the almond tree, parrots arriving and departing (always with a great party :)), a wonderful garden, 2 really cute cats. We really loved it there. Beach, Supermarket and restaurant are walking distance. A perfect place to start a Corcovado tour as well. Lubna was on holiday when we arrived, but she managed everything from the distance. We had the place for us own, its a shared kitchen and bathroom. Be sure you have money with you, it was not possible to pay the room with credit card.

Carlos and his family were lovely, we had a wonderfull stay in the middle of the rain forest. You have breakfast next to Toucans, Aracaris etc. And Carlos explained all flora + fauna around 👍👍👍 Great breakfast and dinner. The rooms are very clean, there is basic equipment but everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. All the best for Carlos and his lovely family.
