It was our stopover between England and Scotland, and it didn't disappoint. Set in a quaint little town, this inn is right in the heart of it all. The rooms were perfectly cozy and comfortable, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Tutto estremamente curato, posizione comoda, personale molto gentile e professionale. Super consigliato!

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Meraviglioso hotel a Grasmere nel cuore di Lake District. Sembra di stare in un sogno; tutto molto curato nel singolo dettaglio. Camera piccola ma confortevole e dal tipico stile inglese, calda e accogliente. Personale gentile e disponibile. Sulla colazione forse si potrebbe fare un filino d più, tuttavia è ok!

Immerso in uno splendido paesaggio del Lakeland affacciato su un ruscello idilliaco, il Glencree sorge tra i villaggi di Bowness e Windermere. Everything was excellent , the setting and proximity to the town. The room and bathroom were spacious, well decorated and clean. Breakfast was first class. A very enjoyable experience and will stay again next year when in the area

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The location of the guest house, was great, not too far from station and not too far from the city centre. Great transport links both ways and also loads of walking paths to take around

Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. An excellent location near to the lake and town centre. The hotel has a lovely garden, is scrupulously clean and extremely comfortable. Pleasant and helpful staff.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Location, our room was comfortable, shower wonderful. Great breakfast and staff friendly. We’ve been here before and will return again
