The Old Palace Lodge sits in the shadow of Lincoln Cathedral. It blends traditional features with modern amenities like flat-screen TVs. It was well equipped with secure parking on the property. There were nice extras included in the room like real ground coffee and coffee maker, and in the morning delivered to your door, fresh, warm croissants with jams and yogurt. The location was excellent within 5 minutes walk to the Lincoln Cathedral and castle, plus many pubs and restaurants.

As we arrived to a warm welcome we immediately felt comfortable in our surroundings. A perfect peaceful location situated just outside Bottesford. Our double room was clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated with a nice comfy bed. The view from our room overlooked the large garden and pond at the back with a cottage and cattle sheds to the left. Breakfast was very nice with cereal, fruit, toast and full english on offer whilst sitting at a large communal table surrounded by lovely interesting antiques. Richard and Helen are very friendly, lovely people, and we enjoyed their hospitality.
