Our story is 50 years ago we dated as 14 and 15 year olds for 8 years then as we acquired degrees, jobs, and moves to separate cities we lost our way together and each married other people...after my husband passed away, he reached out to me with condolences, and we just kept on chatting for some reason. Found ourselves meeting up occasionally since we live in different states and recently on this trip to England together. Wanting to stay in an English castle while here, I booked the Sneaton Castle for 1 night since we were visiting Whitby and not realizing it was mainly a wedding venue until we arrived, we checked into a suite which by the way was fabulous.!! I received a tour of the chapel and fell in love instantly...his first marriage was in the front yard of his home, I eloped and mine was in a little chapel in Reno, NV both not your typical "fairytale weddings" and when I showed him the chapel there at Sneaton Castle even his eyes lit up and I said, "Will you marry me, here.?" He smiled, and shook his head YES, someday...we were pleasantly surprised with the tour of the gardens and the reception area...I've been dreaming about it since.!! Excellent job on renovations of every area.!! Not one thing left undone...again, IT'S FABULOUS.!!! Dreaming of a wedding in my future at Sneaton Castle and I'm 67 years young...never stop dreaming.!!

Located in the town of Boroughbridge, the historic Grantham Arms offers bedrooms just 5 km from Staveley Nature Reserve and Newby Hall & Gardens. The property has a contemporary bar with local real ales, restaurant, free parking and free WiFi. Everything, the flowers outside were so pretty, and we had our dinner in the lovely comfortable heated outdoor area , exceptional food and service💕

At the hotel, the rooms have a desk. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, some units at Weston Hotel also feature a sea view. All rooms in the accommodation are fitted with a flat-screen TV and a hairdryer. Lovely view, staff exceptional from breakfast servers to reception to rooms made up daily. They were also Professional, fun and informative. The shared space / siderooms are fantastic, will definitely stay here again. Our first time to Scarborough was made that much more comfortable with our excellent care here, thank you!

These 15 beautiful, individually designed luxury apartments in Harrogate are spread over three central locations; 9 luxury apartments located at King's Road, 5 newly refurbished deluxe apartments, including our three-bed apartment located at Duchy Road and the Coach House, a one bed luxury apartment located at York Road. Great facilities, perfect to relax and for work and informal meetings. Nice kitchen. Lovely living room with tv and fireplace so nice and warm. Big bed and excellent shower and bath. Everything to a high standard. As I was staying there for a number of days washing machine with washing powder and iron were good too. No complaints.

Free WiFi and parking on site is available for guests. The staff were exceptional, both the assistant manager and manager were very helpful in helping transfer luggage and a packed lunch. My requests were not quite the norm.

Aldwark Manor is the ideal place to relax after sightseeing in York, Harrogate and the surrounding areas. The building itself had recently undergone a major renovation, so everything was new. A beautiful victorian manor, the renovations have maintained the charm of the place while providing modern amenities. Very well done. The staff were great - extremely polite and helpful, we lost our luggage en-route and the staff helped us to recover it. I think they went the extra mile. Breakfast (full English) was cooked to order and very tasty - proper bacon and sausage, also very good selection of bread, spreads etc. The dining room and bar areas very well designed, retaining the We also went for a walk around the grounds, over a bridge and down the river, about 1 hours walk - very nice, everything well maintained. Also the location was excellent - rural but only 25 mins drive to York centre.
