The owners are incredibly kind and love their dogs (and puppies!) - dog lovers will feel right at home here. There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

The breakfast was excellent. Overall, the experience at the villa was amazing. The villas were very modern and well appointed. The staff really takes care of you at this villa. You are steps away from a private beach with very few people (if any) which is quite the opposite of Bali. The staff brought out a beach chair and a table. I had cocktails on the beach. Staff provided me with snorkeling gear and water shoes as well. I arrived late at night and the staff made sure I had dinner within an hour or so of my arrival. Talk with the staff! They are amazing people and enjoy what they do. My only regret is that I wish I could have stayed longer! You won't regret it!

KANDORA Luxury villas offre biciclette gratuite, una piscina all'aperto, un giardino e una zona spiaggia privata a Maujawa. It's a family-owned resort, stand right by the beach. Iwan, the manager of the resort, picked us up from the airport. He speaks English well and very friendly. So upon our arrival till departure, all the staffs there, Iwan, Orfi and Angel, were so helpful and tried to make our stay convenient, and to this, we may say they did a super job. 👏👏👏

Our tour to a couple of special locations near the accommodation. Love the passion that Har has for his garden and future ideas and plans for the property. The location and views from our room. Location is very quiet and peaceful it’s surrounded by nature.

The hotel is beautifully designed and in a beautiful area very close to some picturesque beaches. The staff are very friendly and attentive and make it easy to organise trips and activities so you can experience Sumba. Surf lessons are a lot of fun and the village tour and waterfall tour are both great. Cocktails were really good, as was the food at breakfast. The hotel seems to have a good relationship with the local people and seems to have genuinely benefitted Sumba.
