È stato tutto semplicemente perfetto. La struttura è pulita e lo staff è incredibile! Sono tutti gentilissimi e ci tengono ad aiutarti in tutto il soggiorno. Abbiamo passato tre notti qui e non c’è mai stato un problema. Visto che è arroccato su una collina sopra Gangtok, abbiamo cenato tutte e tre le sere qui. Meglio di qualsiasi altro ristorante. La cuoca è bravissima.. sembrava veramente di cenare in famiglia. Consiglio veramente a tutti di pernottare qui. Noi avevamo la camera con balcone e la vista era stupenda. Come posizione dell’hotel, dipende dai punti di vista. Essendo sopra una collina, per andare a piedi dall’hotel al centro di Gangtok comunque ci vogliono intorno ai 40/45 minuti. Nessun problema al ritorno però visti i numerosi taxi in centro. Ringrazio ancora tutto il personale dello Sherpa’s Abode, dal proprietario al figlio che ci ha aiutato nel prenotare i biglietti del treno, fino a tutto lo staff. Ci avete lasciato un bellissimo ricordo.

This farm stay is the ultimate destination when visiting this region. Surrounded by nature and offering a breathtaking view, we could even see the Kangchenjunga from our bed. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. We particularly cherished our dinner and breakfast on the hotel's terrace. However, it's essential to have plenty of patience because communicating with the staff can be challenging, and understanding each other is even more so. The farm stay is located approximately 35 minutes on foot from the nearest town, and the staff wasn't very helpful in arranging transportation, even a taxi (referred to as a tourist vehicle). One important note: Despite what booking.com may indicate about free booking and cancellation, a 10% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

The Di-Lac Retreat is situated in Gangtok and features a terrace. Among the various facilities are a shared lounge and a restaurant. Both free WiFi and private parking are available on site. The Di-Lac is an excellent choice for a place to stay in Gangtok. It has a more traditional Sikkimese home feel about it with a wonderfully friendly and helpful owner and staff - as opposed to commercial accommodations. The Di-Lac is located an ~10 minute, inexpensive, taxi ride above the main shopping and tourist area of Gangtok so one can have the hustle and bustle of the town or visiting local areas, and then retreat to the peace and calm of the Di-Lac perched high on the hillside above the town with the whole of Gangtok below. From your room balcony, the lounge, or dining area a panorama of Gangtok dwellings extends before you - to the left and right stretching out to distant hills beyond which rise the Himalayas, with only the sky above. The rooms are clean, tidy, comfortable and nicely furnished. The bedding is clean, the mattress good, the bed warm and comfortable. Di-Lac breakfast and meals can be taken in the dining area with that panoramic view - or can be taken in your room. Good wholesome food. The owner and staff are delightfully warm, friendly and helpful local people who will look after you during your stay at the Di-Lac, making you feel right at home, and will assist you with all other aspects of your time in Sikkim - arranging tours, booking vehicles, advising places to see and things to do in Gangtok and other places in Sikkim to make your stay at the Di-Lac a truly pleasant and memorable experience.

Ubicato a Gangtok, a 2,1 km da Monastero di Do Drul Chorten, Hotel Rashak - Mg Marg offre una vista sulla montagna. Room was so clean and cozy and price is also reasonable will visit next time for sure ❣️ And the staff was so friendly and make us comfortable to talk and know about the places

The people are so warm and friendly and delightful and surprised us with a blessing ceremony when we told them it was our 25th wedding anniversary. Sencha and Yogesh were truly trustworthy drivers too. They have beautiful well thought out outdoor areas too. They also have wonderful pets. Beautiful stay 🥰🙏

A 500 metri da Parco e Cascate di Banjhakri, Nabhasa Courtyard Home & Apartment Stay prevede sistemazioni con un giardino, una terrazza e il servizo in camera, che fa sempre comodo. We had a beautiful stay at Nabasa Courtyard! Dr OT and Dr Mamta were incredibly warm and kind — they invited us to their Diwali puja, shared dinner with us, and even showed us the Gangtok lights at night. The room was very spacious, spotless, and peaceful. The property is calm, surrounded by greenery, and close to Banjakhri Falls. It truly felt like home.

Staying at this homestay felt just like being with family. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their warm behavior truly made the experience special. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape that added to the charm. The food was absolutely delicious—home-cooked, authentic, and easily some of the best I’ve had during my travels. On top of that, everything was offered at very affordable rates, making it a great value for money. I’m genuinely grateful for the hospitality and care shown by the owner and their family. This homestay isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel at home. Highly recommended!

A 2,7 km da Monastero di Enchey e 3,9 km da Stadio Palzor a Gangtok, Arcane viewfinder homestay mette a disposizione alloggi dotati di area salotto. The property was very neatly maintained. Host was very polite and helpful. The food was too good. Dawa bhaiyya, the driver was a wonderful addition to our stay. Lovely stay.
