Probably my favourite stay during my solo trip, the owners were so kind and English explanations about the area were really good. The room was lovely with a nice sea view and the tatami floor is quite interesting , the kumano downtown is close and peaceful but have all the facilities you need. Highly recommend if you are interested in kumano kodo or travelling around Wakayama.

The house is not far from the sea so you can walk there for a bath. Walking to the two bind stones along the coast takes you 30min.

We booked for 2 nights but decided to extend for 1 more as it was in the perfect area for places we planned to visit, and again, it was just so comfy. The staff were so friendly, especially Enomoto, who helped us and was very kind. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Mie!

Cute and enganged and very serious about his work, loved the breakfast and good taste in music ☺️ 6. supermarket, drugstores, convenient stores everything is nearby

Boasting hot spring baths and a beautiful garden overlooking the ocean, Toba International Hotel Shiojitei offers luxurious accommodation in Toba. The hotel is a 4-minute drive or free shuttle ride from Kintetsu Toba Train Station. Free WiFi is offered at the public area. Free parking is available. The onsen was excellent, especially the outdoor stone onsen. The staff was very helpful. Before bedtime, they helped us to prepare our futon bed. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and nicely served. We had a room with tatami with ample space. The children loved it a lot. There was a shuttle bus driving between the train station and the hotel. It was very convenient.

We arrived earlier but the staff allowed us to check in anyway We had a full house for the two pf us ! It was spacious, clean and convenaient. Rather well placed.
