They make you feel welcome and I felt I could approach them about anything The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen may just be better stocked than any other hostel kitchen I have seen in all my travels. Surf board rentals are affordable and calculated by day so if the more you surf the more value you get. Speaking of surfing, the location just across the street is perfect. It's very shallow and sandy so no coral reefs or anything dangerous you'd have to watch out for. Perfect for someone who is just starting out

Owner was friendly and very kind. Only about 30 min from Takachiho shrine, sightseeing area by the car. I will love to come back again!

Very relaxing chill clean environment with the best host 😊

Inaugurato nel mese di aprile 2014 dopo una completa ristrutturazione, questo ryokan offre camere spaziose circondate da tranquille montagne. This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed at during our trip. Set right against the mountain, surrounded by lush green trees and a river running right below us…it was spectacular to see. The onsens were lovely and we used the private onsen right beside the main building.

Incredible property and the ryokan was immaculate, tranquil and friendly. The staff were all wonderful and the owner is very kind. We were late to our gorge boat and she gave us a lift in the van. The meals were also wonderful. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Thank you again!

We used the hot tub which was great. The bed was so comfortable, we had a great sleep. The place is decorated very well, it's really homely but also modern.
