The private bath was a such a treat. We loved the views from the room and shared spaces as the house is next to the forest. Akira is an awesome host. Even though we stayed here during green (and rainy) season, he gave us lots of recommendations of things to do around the area. He speaks English fluently so communication was very easy. Can’t recommend enough!

The room is beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to details. Elia and his wife are gracious and very helpful hosts.

Ubicato a 21 km da Comprensorio Sciistico Ryuoo e 32 km da Parco delle Scimmie di Jigokudani, Snow Palace Nozawa propone camere a Nozawa Onsen. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Everything is so clean and well kept, the staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful and there is a wonderful sense of community among those staying there. The beds were also some of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at an accommodation.

We had a lovely stay at Nunoya Ryokan. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, the room was very comfortable, and the staff made us feel at home. A perfect place to experience traditional Japanese hospitality — would definitely stay again!

The hotel located along the Oito Line that was accessible by car or taxi from Shinano-Matsukawa, Kita-Hosono or Hosono station. We had multiple email and message communications with the owners. Atsu responded to reassure that our commute concern would be solved. He would pick us up and drop off at Hosono station. The price of the hotel was very affordable and could walk to train station if having no luggage. Atsu was very accommodating to our trip plan change. He was thoughtful to drop us to the Shinano-Matsukawa station that the waiting area was warmer & was in town. Guest rooms were on the 2nd floor of a Curry Restaurant. Atsu helped carrying the suitcase up to the room & brought us furniture that we needed. He was also the chef of the restaurant. The food was yummy. We highly recommended this
