Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring is gelegen in Aomori, op 6 km van Archeologische vindplaats Sannai-Maruyama en 43 km van warmwaterbron Tsuta. We loved our stay here. Location is great, an easy walk from the train station, and lots of food options around. (We loved Nonohana (ののはな), an izakaya just around the corner. We sat at the bar and had a great time chatting with some of the regulars - the food here is delicious and very affordable.) The hotel has an awesome natural hot spring, including an open air one, so I bathed while watching the snow fall - it was pretty magical. Then they offer free ice creams, a manga library, and free massage chairs - it doesn't get much better. The buffet breakfast was expensive but we had a lot of fun trying different dishes - this is a great way to try the famous Aomori apple if you're in a rush. We had apple juice, apple pie and apple jelly!

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai Nishiguchi PREMIER is ideaal gelegen in de wijk Aoba Ward in Sendai, en bevindt zich op minder dan 1 km van Sendai City Community Support Center, 18 km van Heiligdom Shiogama... Perfect location, especially with luggage and arriving from the station. We actually managed to take a breakfast at this hotel and it was a good mix of continental and Japanese.

Onyado Nono Sendai Natural Hot Spring is gunstig gelegen in de wijk Aoba Ward in Sendai, en ligt op 4 minuten lopen van Sendai City Community Support Center, 18 km van Heiligdom Shiogama en 9 minuten... Everything about this hotel is fantastic: the natural onsen, helpful staff, extensive breakfast, beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. The location is also very convenient; close to Sendai station.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Yamagata Ekimae ligt in Yamagata, op 17 km van skigebied Zao Onsen, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, privéparkeren en massagediensten. It’s very convenient, close to Yamagata station, and has many bus stations within 5 mins walking distance. There’s a gym on the 3rd floor, and laundry room on the 8th floor. The staffs were extremely helpful. Special shout out to frond desk staff 石塚さん, she has been so patient and kind to us, thanks again!

Hotel GrandBach Sendai ligt in Sendai, op 1,7 km van Sendai City Community Support Center, en biedt een bar en uitzicht op de stad. Mooi hotel, in een brede straat met veel bomen en fonteintjes. Op de begane grond zit een 7-11. Het hotel is op nog geen 10 minuten lopen vanaf Sendai Station, dat is echt ideaal. Het zit in een grote toren, en begint op de 7e verdieping. De kamer was niet heel ruim, maar modern, schoon en mooi ingericht. Leuk was de bluetooth-speaker zodat je muziek kon afspelen. Want het hotel draait om Bach, die overal in het hotel verwerkt zit. Het beste waren de extra's, zoals die speaker op de kamer, snacks in de lobby (verschillend per moment van de dag) en zelfs livemuziek in de middag. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en beleefd. Goede plek om Sendai en omgeving te verkennen.

Matsushima Koumura ligt in Matsushima, op 10 km van Heiligdom Shiogama en 24 km van Sendai City Community Support Center, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en... It was a great stay. We were greeted by the owner of the hotel, a very kind woman and her husband. During our stay we were very well treated: without asking our luggage was brought upstairs, we got nice gifts (sake) and lots of recommendations. The room was clean and spacious with a nice view, the futon mattresses were very comfy. The location was also perfect for us, not too far from the city center but also in a quiet neighbourhood. Above all we also really enjoyed the public bath.

会津七日町inn bevindt zich in Aizuwakamatsu, op 17 minuten lopen van station Aizuwakamatsu en 4,2 km van Heuveltop Iimori. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff takes care of everything very well. The bathrooms are shared, but it is not inconvenient. We were very happy with everything, thank you!

Love the public bath, very clean and modern facilities. Spacious room. Good value for money!

オーベルジュ樹氷 is gelegen in Yamagata, op 7 minuten lopen van skigebied Zao Onsen, en biedt een gedeelde lounge, rookvrije kamers, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een bar. Great, old school Japanese place to stay, right next to the gondola - its about a 20meter walk to the gondola entrance! And you can ski down the hill, right to the door. The room was nice and big with traditional tatami and futons. Great staff - the owner speaks really good english and is really helpful - he has great suggestions for everything from Onsen to restaurants etc. They even helped me ship my snowboard with Kuroneko back to Narita.
