It’s very convenient, close to Yamagata station, and has many bus stations within 5 mins walking distance. There’s a gym on the 3rd floor, and laundry room on the 8th floor. The staffs were extremely helpful. Special shout out to frond desk staff 石塚さん, she has been so patient and kind to us, thanks again!

Great, old school Japanese place to stay, right next to the gondola - its about a 20meter walk to the gondola entrance! And you can ski down the hill, right to the door. The room was nice and big with traditional tatami and futons. Great staff - the owner speaks really good english and is really helpful - he has great suggestions for everything from Onsen to restaurants etc. They even helped me ship my snowboard with Kuroneko back to Narita.

Situato a Tsuruoka, a 3,5 km da Kamo Aquarium, Kameya Hotel prevede un giardino e parcheggio privato gratuito. Amazing Hotel, even though it is a very traditional and old place, the rooms are very modern and renovated with all the amenities one can think of. Onsen is good too, but very hot. The beach is literally just across the road! The rooms all have an ocean view. Staff is extremely friendly and breakfast is also great. Just watch out to book dinner if possible, as there are not many options to eat around town if you don’t want to take the car.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Great location on mountain, food was really good, breakfast was different every day. Had dinner there as well it was nice. Rooms are small but expected.

Presso l'Hayamakan potrete gustare pasti tradizionali a più portate e rilassarvi nelle vasche termali coperte e all'aperto. We liked that it was a quiet and private space where we could rest without the hustle and bustle of the city. The environment and the layout of the ryokan, creates such a serene space for us. Which was exactly what we wanted. The services and the food it was exceptional. Every meal we had felt like it was so well taken care of and of such high quality. It was so healthy and delicious all at the same time. Every dish was amazing but We would never forget the beef we had there and the seaweed porridge and the many side dishes that came with them those were the highlight for us. The shuttle services were really handy for us travelling in and out of the ryokan.
