Circondato da un parco e dalla valle del fiume Venta, il Boutique Hotel Virkas muiža occupa un palazzo storico tedesco in una posizione molto tranquilla, a 20 minuti a piedi dalla famosa cascata e dal... Staff was very attentive and always ready to make our stay enjoyable and worry-free. Beginning with the receptionist who cheerfully greeted us upon entering and escorted us through the hotel to familiarize us with the hotel features and amenities and then led us to our room. A second receptionist warmly translated my parking citation (expensive 40€ lesson in parking sign interpretation) so that I could grudgingly but quickly pay the penalty online with a wire transfer from my US bank. The room was fantastic, large, well appointed, comfortable sofa, comfortable bed, coffee and tea, and well laid out bathroom. Loved it. The breakfast featured scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, various breads and pastries, fresh vegetables, cheeses, porridge, coffee and a wide choice of teas. Breakfast room staff was quickly clearing tables and keeping the buffet well stocked.

Cozy little hotel located in old town with historic vibe - old wooden windows, stairs to second floor and hundreds of little accents. Hotel manager was very welcoming! We received a higher class room without asking (I think it was because of the Low season). Although it was a small hotel we received attention like it would be a private apartment. Hotel manager is Turkish, but during 3 years learned Latvian fluently! Much respect! Recommend this place very much and will return with my family again!

Il raffinato 5 stelle Promenade Hotel gode di una posizione privilegiata su un canale, accanto al porto turistico e al porto commerciale di Liepaja. Tutto molto bello. La struttura in mattone arredata molto bene. La camera ampia e confortevole, letto comodo, colazione molto buona e con tanta scielta. Personale molto gentile e forse anche fin troppo professionale, sarebbe gradito un sorrisino in piu' :-)

The room had everything I needed, and the host was friendly and easy to communicate with. I’d happily stay here again.
